The main (and to my knowledge, only as of now) vet there, David W. Saylor [ ...More ] (stocky white male with glasses, approximately 70 years old), is by far the worst vet I've ever been to. He was extremely rough with the treatment of my dog, along with being very rude and obnoxious. He showed no sensitivity toward me or the condition of my dog whatsoever. At times he was downright belligerent; he snapped at me for asking simple questions (he was literally yelling at me at one point). He attempted to bully me into putting my dog under anesthesia to have her teeth cleaned, despite the fact that she was 15+ years old and in less than stellar health. He also charged me for several services without prompting me. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with.
I have learned from other vets in the area that this vet has an EXTREMELY negative reputation, and has caused several disgruntled customers to look elsewhere for the treatment of their pets. The parking lot of the clinic is usually empty these days, which should be a pretty good sign of how customers and their pets are treated there. If you value your pet's health and safety, DO NOT visit this vet. He is completely and totally incompetent. [ ...Less ]
